summer at eleonas hotel

After the flurry of activities in May, June has been a quieter month here at Eleonas Hotel.

With the onset of the summer heat, our guests have wisely opted for the cool and relaxing embrace of the beach.

One family chose to immerse themselves in our educational activities as well.

They participated in an olive oil tasting, tried their hand at the art of weaving and attended a cooking class.

Little hands kneaded and we made olive bread and small olive pies.

Their enthusiasm touched us.

In the meantime, we deal with the day-to-day.

We water the thirsty flowers, walk our dog and feed the chickens and fish.

The cooler evenings are the perfect opportunity for wonderful conversations under the olive tree with you, the guests.

We also had an unexpected guest: a tortoise!

It was a delightful surprise, and our guests, especially the children, were thrilled to meet and observe this charming new visitor.

We successfully continue the workshops for olive oil tasting.

We receive very good feedback and are happy that they leave with more practical information....and our tree is growing.

Our minds are working to find new ways to market our olive oil.

We are adding  a 100ml bottle to our existing 750ml and 250ml options.

Additionally, we are designing new packaging and labels for our olives to make them even more appealing.
