Autumn and Food & Life food fair
Dear Friends,
Autumn has arrived, bringing with it cooler breezes and breathtaking sunsets that paint the sky with rich hues of orange and pink.
The air is crisp, though the sea remains warm, holding onto the last whispers of summer.
Yet, we still await the much-needed rain, vital for the olive trees.

The hotel has closed for the season, and we look forward to welcoming you again from April 2025.

We bid farewell to Florance, whose joyful spirit, efficiency, discretion, and helpful nature will be greatly missed.
|
|
We are now in the midst of harvesting olives and producing our fresh, organic extra virgin olive oil “eleonas Vallis” .
After nearly three years of almost no harvest, this could have been a promising season—if only there had been some rain.
Unfortunately, the crops are struggling, as the irrigation system was destroyed in the fire and has yet to be replaced, leaving the trees without the vital moisture they need to thrive.

Now, I finally have a bit of time for handicrafts. I’ve sat down at the loom, making rag rugs.
I even started weaving on pebbles collected from the beach.
It’s a creative way to reconnect with the simple joys of making things by hand.

Next to the hotel, where a forest was before the fire, young pine trees are beginning to emerge.
Their light green needles add a fresh touch to the landscape.

We are preparing for the Food and Life fair in Munich, taking place from November 27 to December 1, 2024. Τ
This will be our third time participating, and we are hopeful to sell plenty of our olive oil. It’s always an exciting event, and we look forward to sharing our products and knowledge with visitors once again.
If you are near Munich we would love to see you and treat you
to delicious Greek olives and olive oil.
