time is running, Easter is almost here | eleonas hotel

Dear friends

This year, something special is happening – Orthodox and Catholic Easter fall on the same day, Sunday, April 20th!

The last time this occurred was in 2017, making it a rare and exciting occasion.

Take this opportunity to visit eleonas Hotel and experience a traditional Greek Easter celebration.

Book your stay early so we can create something truly unforgettable for you.

Secure your spot now and let us make this Easter one to remember!

Celebrating 25  years, we want to create one more video filled with your cherished memories at eleonas Hotel!

We invite you to search your files and share your favorite moments with us.

Some of you have already sent beautiful photos and videos—thank you!

If you haven’t yet, there’s still time.

Send us your memories by the end of March and be a part of our anniversary celebration!

At the beginning of February, we participated in a Food Fair in Athens, where we introduced our new product—extra virgin BIO olive oil from the Amfissa variety.

It garnered significant interest from visitors at our booth for its rich aroma and taste.

PDO Rovies (Amfissis) olives are traditionally known and appreciated as table olives, not typically been used for olive oil production.

We created a new label on a black background to distinguish it from the organic extra virgin olive oil of the Koroneiki olive variety.

Encouraged by the positive feedback, we are now considering entering it into a competition for an award.

We’ll keep you updated on its journey.

The estate is busting with activity. Two groups of four people are working hard, pruning the burned olive trees.

The sight is disheartening—century-old trees are being cut to the ground or completely uprooted.

We are starting over from the beginning, even at our old age.

It will take years before we see a productive harvest again

To help with the process, Stefanos even bought a bulldozer to remove the roots and level the land so we could plant new, younger trees.

As hard as it is, there is no other way.

As our ancestor, Antonis Papadopoulos, used to say: “Onward-keep on—how else?”.

So we keep moving, replanting, and believing in what’s to come.

We know that after every storm, the rainbow always shines, and we are patiently waiting for it.

warmest regards

Stefanos and Marina
