Easter at eleonas hotel: Tradition, Flavor & Special Surprises!

 March, the first month of spring, and nature in Rovies is dressing up in colors.

Purple anemones bloom, while almond trees surprise us with their delicate white and pink blossoms.

As the days grow longer and the sun shines more generously, we welcome this season with optimism—despite the challenges around us.

To tempt you, on Holy Saturday night, a warm meal will be waiting for you, featuring traditional magiritsa soup, spinach pie, red-dyed eggs, salad, and   dessert—all for €27 per person.

On Easter Sunday, the lamb will be roasting on the spit, and our feast will include oven-roasted potatoes, tzatziki, fresh salad, red-dyed eggs, Russian salad, cheese pie, and dessert—all for €40 per person.

And a little surprise! Celebrating 25 years of eleonas we will host a special handicraft exhibition for about a month, starting in early April.

Three talented friends will showcase their unique creations—decorative dolls, practical bags, beautiful jewelry, and much more- all waiting to be admired.

In Limni, on the last day of Carnival, the War effigy went up in flames!

I took part in creating the Peace float, decorating it with flowers  (recycling  plastic bottles), and messages of hope for a world without violence.
